Busy Week

I'm part of the way through the busiest week I've had in quite awhile. As most of you know, I play every Thursday at Pyramid in Sacramento 6:30-8:30pm. Well, last night, I also played a show after my regular gig at Old Ironsides in Sacramento (awesome venue!) I was opening for Honeyspot (I'm so glad they are back playing shows.) Benton Paul and Megan Slankard were also on the bill and both were very impressive.

My setlist from Old I was as follows:

Neon Sign
This Time Around
Saturday Boy
Second Rate Song
50 Stories

Today, I have another show at Pyramid in Walnut Creek (7-11pm.) Tomorrow I actually have to work in Davis, and Sunday I'll be playing at the G St Pub in Davis. Needless to say, it's going to be tiring, but I've already had a lot of fun. I'm really lucky to be friends with the guys from Honeyspot, rarely would you see a solo acoustic act at a non-open mic night at Old Ironsides, and I've done that twice. It makes me feel like I'm doing something right...

Stuff I'm listening to:

Ryan Adams "Love Is Hell"
The Streets "Everything Is Borrowed"
Oasis "Dig Out Your Soul"
Bob Dylan "Essential Collection"
