Cover Song Recommendations

Hey folks! I just got back from playing at Pyramid in Sacramento, and I'm bored of playing many of the same songs over and over and over and over again. I'm looking for some solid suggestions of songs I should learn and play in a mostly acoustic format. Some of these songs may end up working for the Live Band Karaoke band, but let's not jump ahead of ourselves.

One idea I had is to learn a song by the Who. It seems ridiculous that I don't have one in my bag of tricks, so it's officially been put on the to-do list. What song should I learn? Right now I'm thinking "The Kids Are Alright" but I could be swayed.

The main thing is, don't be bashful. Create a marathon comment of suggestions if you want. I'm not promising I can/will learn every song suggested, so the more, the better. I'm definitely looking for variety so don't feel like any suggestion is out of bounds.

So there you go... it's up to you. Freshen up my setlist!

i love that "choose your own adventure" is a label...

I think you should do a Lady Gaga song in your style. Not joking. Like Poker Face or something. But make it sound good, not annoying.

Also check out Iron & Wine. I like.

If you are going to do a Who cover, why not Pictures of Lily? It's about masturbating and is extremely underrated.

What about Breakfast at Tiffany's by Deep Blue Something I think that song would suit your voice and would work acoustically. also I love the song tail of the sun by Stroke Nine.
